Welcome to Maama Faith Luwalira Foundation (MAFLF)
Faith Kityo Luwalira is a teacher by profession and a born-again Christian. She is married to the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese under the Church of Uganda and she has four children, two boys and two girls. She has worked beside her husband over the years at different levels of the Church were they have been posted. She is an intercessor and is involved in rallying people to pray and intercede for the Church and the nation. Her love and passion for family drives her to intercede for family and children. Despite the fact that she has no recognized office and budget to support her work, she has continuously started projects for example, Kanani Restaurant, Galamba School and Church, Charity shop and many others. She has preached the salvation Gospel, supported fellowships for children, youth, women and men as well as the elderly to mention but a few. She is now involved in helping to empower the boy-child as well as the girl-child for stable families.

Our Mentor
Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira
Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira is an Anglican Bishop in Uganda: he has been Bishop of Namirembe since 2009. Luwalira of Namirembe Diocese was born on 8 December 1958 in Kiwenda, Wakiso District. He was educated at Balitta Nursery School, Namulonge Primary School and Kololo Secondary School. He pursued a Diploma in Theology at Ugandan Christian University Mukono then Bishop Tucker Theological College and a Bachelor’s degree in Divinity. He was appointed to serve as the vicar at Namirembe Cathedral from 2001 until he was elected bishop on February 21, 2009, and consecrated and enthroned on May 31, 2009. Luwalira is married to Faith Nakitende whom he met through family connections in 1988 while she was a teacher at Gayaza High School. On September 2, 1989, Faith and Wilberforce married at St Paul’s Cathedral Namirembe at 11am. The late Bishop Misaeri Kawuma officiated.
